These support innovative, interdisciplinary research that is focused on new ways to tackle the challenges encountered at the intersections between poverty, environmental sustainability and conflict or fragility in specific developing country contexts.<\/p>\n<h3>Opportunity<\/h3>\n<p>The countries of focus should be from one of the following three regions: the Horn of Africa, West Africa and South or Southeast Asia. They should represent a range of different environments, different types of conflict or fragility and different dimensions, scales and facets of poverty.
