In partnership with the not-for-profit sector, companies and universities, Mitacs is supporting a new economy using Canada\u2019s most valuable resource\u2014its people.<\/p>\n<p>As a complement to its domestic initiatives, Mitacs has a series of international programs, which provide two-way knowledge and talent exchange between key partner countries and Canada. Such international opportunities provide a means to expand Canada\u2019s academic connections facilitating the exchange of knowledge and ideas.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Opportunity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Mitacs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/globalink\/globalink-research-internship\">Globalink Research Internship<\/a> (GRI) is now accepting faculty submissions for Summer 2017. GRI pairs faculty in Canada with international undergrads for 12-week research projects from May to September.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All disciplines are eligible<\/li>\n<li>Top-ranked senior undergrads travel from <strong>Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Tunisia, and Saudi Arabia<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Faculty can submit multiple projects and re-submit projects from previous years<\/li>\n<li><strong>Application deadline:<\/strong> June 16th, 2016 at 5pm PDT.<\/li>\n<li>Faculty can submit projects <a href=\"https:\/\/lc.mitacs.ca\/globalink\/ProfessorPlatform.html\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Globalink Research Internship alumni interested in returning to Canada for graduate studies are eligible for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/globalink\/globalink-graduate-fellowship\">Globalink Graduate Fellowship<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Full Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Full details regarding the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitacs.ca\/en\/programs\/globalink\/globalink-research-internship\">Globalink Research Internship<\/a> program<\/li>\n<li>Submit projects through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lc.mitacs.ca\/globalink\/ProfessorPlatform.html\"><strong>faculty application form<\/strong><\/a>.
