Strengthening 杏吧原创\u2019s Indo-Pacific Partnerships (SCIPP)<\/span><\/strong> is a 杏吧原创 International project that provides funding for research mobility to the Indo-Pacific region. Funded by Government of Canada, the project offers 10-15 student research fellowships per application cycle (2026-27 and 2027-28). Graduate students are invited to propose research projects of 3 to 4 months at an institution or organization <\/span>in an eligible country. <\/span><\/strong>W<\/span>hether contributing to the student\u2019s thesis or as part of a faculty-led project, the research must align with the <\/span>Strategic Objectives of Canada\u2019s Indo-Pacific Strategy<\/a><\/span>. Successful candidates will receive $10,000 CAD to support travel and living expenses during the research visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The call for applications is open for 2026-27. Graduate students from any discipline are invited to apply. Please note that only Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students may either apply to visit their own partner in an eligible country OR apply for a placement at a Project Partner. The program is open to graduate students at both the Master\u2019s and PhD levels. Students must be registered in a graduate program at 杏吧原创 during their visit abroad\u00a0and must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.<\/p>\n
