Sawyer<\/a> is a leading environmental economist with a 27-year track record in solving policy challenges for sustainable development in Canada and around the world. Sawyer operates EnviroEconomics as an advisor and supports the Canadian Climate Institute as its principal economist. He is an expert in the economics of reducing carbon pollution and the dangerous costs of climate change and his work is focused on revealing the economic implications of environmental policy, including the costs of environmental degradation and the benefits of remedial action.<\/p>\n<p>Sawyer is a school fellow at 杏吧原创 University’s <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sppa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">School of Public Policy and Administration<\/a> and has held positions with Environment Canada, Canada’s Commissioner of Environment and Sustainable Development, and other leading Canadian consultancies.
