The AGHN conference is supported by the Aesculapian Society- an association representing medical students at the University of Ottawa, and the former Office of Global Health. The AGHN Conference is dedicated to raising awareness and disseminating knowledge about local and global health issues through stimulating conversation with diverse and thought-provoking keynote speakers and workshops.<\/p>\n<p>This year we are again hosting a research symposium, which aims to provide an opportunity for innovative students (undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral) to present their work. Abstracts surrounding the following themes will be considered:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social science<\/li>\n<li>Global health<\/li>\n<li>Public health<\/li>\n<li>Health-services<\/li>\n<li>Health policy<\/li>\n<li>Anthropology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All students who feel they have knowledge and experience to share are invited to apply. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase your study, network with peers and researchers, and win a prize for the best poster!<\/p>\n<p>The early bird deadline for submitting your application is July 12, 2017 by 11:59 PM EST. La conf\u00e9rence AGHN est support\u00e9e par la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019Esculape, l\u2019association \u00e9tudiante de la Facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa, et l\u2019ancien Bureau de la sant\u00e9 mondiale. La conf\u00e9rence AGHN est destin\u00e9e \u00e0 la promotion et \u00e0 la diffusion de connaissances au sujet de la sant\u00e9 mondiale au niveau local et international par l\u2019entremise de nombreuses discussions stimulantes gr\u00e2ce aux intervenants principaux et aux ateliers qui y seront organis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e, nous organisons un symposium de recherche, qui veut permettre aux \u00e9tudiants innovateurs (de premier cycle, d\u2019\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures et postdoctorales) de pr\u00e9senter leurs travaux de recherche. Les r\u00e9sum\u00e9s qui portent sur les th\u00e8mes suivants seront consid\u00e9r\u00e9s:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 Sciences sociales<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Sant\u00e9 mondiale<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Sant\u00e9 publique<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Services de sant\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Politiques de sant<\/li>\n<li>Anthropologie<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tous les \u00e9tudiants se croyant suffisamment habiles dans leur domaine ou ayant une expertise \u00e0 partager sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 poser leur candidature.
