Stemming from the panel&#8217;s\u00a0analysis, the\u00a0International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) today released\u00a0a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iarc.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">report<\/a> stating the evidence and conclusions reached by the panel. The panel concluded that mycotoxins (commonly found in staple foods in developing countries) are not only a cause of acute poisoning and cancer but are also a likely contributor to the high levels of stunting in children in affected populations.
