In our latest policy brief, Patrick Leblond and Hery Maholisoa Ramiarison (University of Ottawa) examine the impact of Brexit on Canada’s transatlantic economic relations. After Brexit, the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK) negotiated the Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) to manage their economic relationship. The TCA began applying provisionally on January 1, 2021. The policy brief analyzes the impact of the TCA on Canada\u2019s economic relations with both the EU and the UK.<\/p>\n
