The mandate of the Centre for European Studies is fourfold:<\/p>\n

Research:<\/strong> To support research activities in the field of European Studies and to sponsor research publications, such as policy briefs and books resulting from annual research conferences.<\/p>\n

Teaching:<\/strong> To support the teaching programs in the field of European Studies by sponsoring visiting scholars, new courses, student research abroad, and extra-curricular activities to enhance the exposure of students to the field.<\/p><\/div>\n

Outreach:<\/strong> To sponsor talks and other academic events in the field of European Studies that are open to the public, the academic community, and the policy community.<\/p>\n

Partnerships:<\/strong> To create fruitful cooperation with European partner universities, other Jean Monnet Centres of Excellence in Canada and abroad, European embassies in Canada, and governmental and non-governmental organizations.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
