The Centre for European Studies (Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence), the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany are very pleased to co-host the lecture, “Transatlantic Relations at a Crossroads: Germany, Canada, and the Age of Trump<\/strong>“, with Germany\u2019s Transatlantic Coordinator, Metin Hakverdi, Member of the Bundestag (SPD), who will offer a timely discussion on how Germany and Canada are navigating a period of profound uncertainty in transatlantic relations.<\/p>\n

The talk will examine the shared interests and values that continue to anchor pragmatic cooperation on trade, security, and global stability. It will explore where Germany and Canada can deepen their partnership amid political volatility and shifting global power dynamics.<\/p>\n
