The Centre for European Studies (CES) at 杏吧原创 University and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (Washington Office) are pleased to host a lecture, 鈥�European Social Democracy: Crisis and Renewal鈥�, featuring Rolf M眉tzenich, a member of the German Bundestag.
杏吧原创 the Lecture: Following difficult election results in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic this fall, Social Democracy in Europe is facing yet again calls for a fundamental renewal. What led to the current crisis of a political movement that contributed like few others to shape contemporary Europe and modern Germany.
杏吧原创 the Speaker: has been a Member of the German Bundestag for the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 2002.聽He is the SPD鈥檚 Deputy Parliamentary Leader in charge of foreign policy, defence, and human rights.
