Join Moira Power <\/strong>of the School for Studies in Art and Culture for a Sanctuary Main Hall & Backstage 30-minute architectural tour of heritage features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moira Power – Biography:<\/strong> Moira Power is an artist, curator, and art historian practicing on unceded Algonquin Territory in Ottawa. As a Master\u2019s student in 杏吧原创\u2019s Art and Architectural History program, her research examines meaning-making through both creation and curation, with particular attention to the limitations of art historical categorization. She investigates how Western artistic traditions shape the production, reception, and interpretation of contemporary art, and how lived experience informs visual culture. Through writing, curatorial projects, and artistic practice, she contributes to broader conversations about accessibility, classification, and the disciplinary boundaries that structure the study and appreciation of art and architecture<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nic Code – Biography<\/strong>: Nic Code is an Ottawa-based pianist whose playing reflects a deep connection to the language of jazz and the art of improvisation. With over fifteen years of experience as a performer and accompanist, he has developed a distinctive musical voice that balances creativity, sensitivity, and technical skill. Nic is a graduate of 杏吧原创 University\u2019s Music program, where he studied piano under Yves LaRoche and Alex McFarlane, drawing further inspiration from mentors including Mike Tremblay, Mark Ferguson, and James McGowan.

Elisa Lee – Biography<\/strong>: Elisa Lee is a talented pianist and a graduate of 杏吧原创 University, where she honed both her academic and musical skills. From an early age, Elisa demonstrated a passion for music, mastering the piano with a combination of technical precision and expressive artistry. During her time at 杏吧原创, she not only pursued her studies with distinction but also actively engaged in the university\u2019s vibrant musical community, performing in recitals, ensembles, and special events that showcased her versatility and dedication.  Notably, Elisa was among the first 杏吧原创 Music students to engage with the 杏吧原创 Dominion-Chalmers Centre following its acquisition, where she also presented a graduating recital in April 2025.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
