If you would like a copy of the Inventory,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/career\/contact\/\">please contact our office.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Articulate Competencies:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Write accomplishment statements (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/career\/job-search\/resume-cover-letter-cv-guides\/sar-statements\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SAR statements<\/a>) to articulate your competencies\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Note: SAR Statements typically include a Situation,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/career\/job-search\/resume-cover-letter-cv-guides\/action-verbs-by-skill-set\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Action Verb<\/a>&nbsp;and Result.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Example SAR statements\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em>Communication:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;Objectively interviewed subject matter experts over Zoom, which in resulted in collecting relevant primary data for group research project on the building of the Rideau Canal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Research and Analysis:<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;Thoroughly reviewed account ledgers and balances as Treasurer of ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University Relay for Life committee, ensuring accurate financial records<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Innovation and Collaboration<\/em><\/strong>: Successfully collaborated with 15 classmates and faculty to organize and plan \u201cSustainability Week,\u201d to educate the wider student population on ways to improve sustainability on campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Update Resume<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add your competencies and SAR Statements to your resume or CV.
