The Jean Monnet Network on EU-Canada Relations is pleased to host a research seminar: The Interaction of National and International Administrations in the European Energy Framework <\/strong><\/em>with Sebastian Widmuch, TU Darmstadt.<\/p>\n Energy Policy in Europe is characterised by interdependence between national and international actors, such as supporting a transition towards renewable energy sources. This presentation will focus on determinants of effective coordination between administrative levels, and address how coordinated relations reflect power structures between administrations.<\/p>\n Biography:<\/span> Sebastian Widmuch<\/a> is a PhD candidate and visiting scholar from the Technische Universit\u00e4t Darmstadt<\/a> in Germany. He is a research associate in the project \u201cLinking national and international administrations \u2013 The impact of multilevel coordination\u201d, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG)<\/a>.<\/p>\n This research seminar is geared towards doctoral students and their supervisors, as well as EURUS MA students interested in the research.<\/p>\n
