Working collaboratively, creatively, and with a commitment to social justice, we鈥檒l help you explore the pressing questions about our society鈥攁s well as the built and natural environments鈥攖hat inspired you to pursue a university degree in the first place. Our interdisciplinary courses in settler, diaspora, and memory studies, along with heritage planning and sustainability, will allow you to examine multiple facets of complex issues. Practicum placements at national, provincial and municipal institutions will mean direct access to skills-based learning and future employment.
We are currently recruiting students for our聽MA in Canadian Studies, with the option of specializing in聽Heritage Planning and Studies or . Many of our students also combine the MA with a Diploma in Curatorial Studies. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and successful candidates may be offered funding packages comprising scholarships, bursaries as well as research and teaching assistant positions.
Please note that we are not accepting new applications to the BA and PhD programs for the 2025鈥2026 academic year.
