The School of Canadian Studies (SCS), in partnership with the Indigenous and Canadian Studies Graduate Community (ICGC) is pleased to announce that the听2nd听Annual SICS Research Symposium听will take place听virtually听on听Thursday April 7, 2022, from 8:30am 鈥� 5:00pm EST.

The Symposium will consist of 5 Sessions:
Session 1: Priorities from the Speech from the Throne
Session 2: Reconceptualizing Knowledge and Research
Session 3: Reclaiming Representations, Identities, and Histories
Session 4: Decolonial Strategies: (Re)constructing Discourses and Solidarity
Session 5: Plenary Session: Continuing the Conversation
Session 5 is an open round-table type session where all attendees are invited to share their thoughts on topics discussed throughout the day.
