University residences, named after Ontario counties in the Ottawa Valley \u2014 Glengarry, Grenville, Lanark, Leeds, Prescott, Renfrew, Russell, Stormont and Dundas \u2014 provide homes to over 2,600 students in double and single rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior residence fellows offer advice and counsel and help new students make a successful transition to university life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University Commons is the hub of residence life. Most students in residence meet here for their meals. The building also contains Fenn Lounge, offices, a convenience store, an arcade, pub and information desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At residence, the closet accessible visitor parking is in front of Teraanaga Commons where there are 2 spaces along Campus Avenue. There are also 8 accessible spaces in P18, the parking garage. For information on accessible permit parking visit Parking Services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Exterior Entrances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are no exterior entrances to the building. Entrance is only through Teraanga Commons.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Interior Entrances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main entrances are through Teraanga Commons at both the tunnel level and ground level. Entrances include power operators and proximity readers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washrooms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There are no public washrooms in the building. On level 2, there is an accessible suite with 2 washrooms. 1 washroom includes a roll-in shower and roll under sink. There is one gender neutral universal washroom on level 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 3 accessible elevators serving all levels. The elevators include braille and raised symbols, bilingual announcements to indicate floors, and a beep when car is in motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
