On the site, you can find instructions for basic course tasks, such as changing notification settings, using the Brightspace Pulse app, submitting assignments and viewing grades. The site is a great starting point for technical questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check out the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/category\/杏吧原创+University+Galleries%3EBrightspace%3EBrightspace+for+Students\/204479823\"><strong>Brightspace Student channel in Mediaspace<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>Here you\u2019ll find a short video tour of Brightspace and demonstrations of how to complete a quiz and how to submit assignments, among other things.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sign up for the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/online\/online-learning-orientation\/\"><strong>Online Learning Orientation<\/strong><\/a><strong>: <\/strong>Through the orientation, you can explore Brightspace while reviewing strategies to help you succeed in online courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Support Channels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions about Brightspace, D2L <a href=\"https:\/\/community.brightspace.com\/support\/s\/contactsupport\">provides\u00a0on-demand\u00a0technical support<\/a> 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year via email, chat and phone. We\u2019ve compiled some of the most common Brightspace questions students ask at the start of term.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why can\u2019t I see my course in Brightspace<\/strong>?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you\u2019ve logged into Brightspace and your course is not showing up, there may be a few reasons: Your registration may not be processed, the course may not be active or it may not have started yet. <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/course-visibility-in-brightspace\/\">Learn more about course visibility here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why am I getting an error message when using BigBlueButton or H5P?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are experiencing issues when using BigBlueButton or H5P in Brightspace, we recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/enabling-cookies\/\">enabling cookies in your web browser.<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Why am I getting so many course notifications? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By default, students receive regular notifications for their course, such as notifications for announcements and new grades.
