You\u2019ll learn tips and tricks for completing your assessments and accessing the grades when they\u2019re ready. Learn about the interface early so you\u2019ll be a pro by the time finals arrive.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Know how to troubleshoot error messages:<\/strong> Two common reasons students receive error messages include blocked cookies and browser caching woes. If you\u2019re encountering error messages in Brightspace or other 杏吧原创 tools, try <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/clearing-your-browser-cache\/\">clearing your browser cache<\/a> and cookies or <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/enabling-cookies\/\">enable cookies in your browser.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Update to the latest version of Zoom:<\/strong> Update your <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360027397692-Desktop-client-mobile-app-web-client-and-PWA-comparison\">Zoom app<\/a> to the latest version to take advantage of the latest features and settings. The app offers a fuller, more feature rich experience over a browser-based session.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other reminders and updates: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Course visibility for winter:<\/strong> Course visibility is always a hot topic at the start of the term. If your winter term course isn\u2019t showing up yet, there may be a few different factors at play. Your course may not have started yet, or your instructor may not have opened the course yet. Read more about <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/course-visibility-in-brightspace\/\">Course Visibility and Access<\/a> on the Brightspace Student Support site.<\/li>\n<li><strong>New features in Brightspace<\/strong>: Brightspace updates every month with new features and functions. Did you know that users are now able to indicate pronouns in their account settings? Visit the support page on <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/instructors\/adding-pronouns-in-brightspace\/\">Adding pronouns in Brightspace<\/a> for instructions and resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any questions, D2L <a href=\"https:\/\/community.brightspace.com\/support\/s\/contactsupport\">provides\u00a0on-demand\u00a0technical support<\/a> 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year via email, chat and phone.
