As early summer courses start to wrap up, Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) continues to plan for future terms and is available to support you as you navigate the new system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get to Know Brightspace<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The more you explore the new system, the more confident you\u2019ll become. To help you get started, TLS has developed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/tas\/\">a\u202fBrightspace TA Support website<\/a>, where you can find documentation on how to navigate and use the system.\u202fYou can also visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/category\/杏吧原创+University+Galleries%3EBrightspace\/203892503\">TLS Mediaspace Channel<\/a> to watch a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/media\/Getting+Started+in+Brightspace+for+Teaching+Assistants\/1_pmrr6y7j\">virtual tour of the new system<\/a> and short videos on common Brightspace activities, such as using the <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/media\/Brightspace+Gradebook+-+May+12th%2C+2021\/1_5uk92x62\/203892503\">gradebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Support\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>D2L provides\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/community.brightspace.com\/support\/s\/contactsupport\">on-demand support<\/a> for Brightspace 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year via email, chat and phone. If you need support for tools that integrate into Brightspace, such as Zoom, BigBlueButton, H5P and Kaltura\/Mediaspace, please submit your request to the <a href=\"https:\/\/itsjira.carleton.ca\/servicedesk\/customer\/portal\/15\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TLS Support Portal<\/a>. TLS also offers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/tasupport\/ta-intake-form-page\/\">consultations for TAs<\/a>\u00a0looking for one-on-one assistance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TA Central Hub<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new TA Central Hub in Brightspace is a space for TAs to watch pre-recorded training videos, access resource materials and share resources related to online teaching. If you are a new TA and would like to enroll in the hub, please contact\u00a0<a href=\"&#109;&#x61;&#x69;l&#116;&#x6f;:&#115;&#x61;&#x6d;&#97;&#x6e;&#x74;h&#97;&#x2e;s&#104;&#x6f;&#x72;&#116;&#x74;&#x40;c&#97;&#x72;l&#101;&#x74;&#x6f;&#110;&#x2e;&#x63;a\">Sam Shortt<\/a>.
