Notifications can help students stay on top of course assignments and updates. These notifications can be for new announcements, assignment updates, content added or changed in a course, updates in a discussion, new grades or upcoming quizzes. Students can customize these notifications to best suit their needs, choosing to receive a summary of activity or instant notifications over email or SMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

It is highly recommended to enable email or SMS notifications for <\/em>new or updated announcements, <\/em>assignments and quiz due dates, and newly released grades. Notifications for new content or posts in discussions are also recommended. <\/em>Remember that you can disable or change your notifications settings at any time.\u00a0<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Customizing Notification Settings<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  1. Log in to Brightspace<\/a> with your My杏吧原创One<\/em> credentials.<\/li>\n
  2. Click your name<\/strong> in the top-right side of your Brightspace homepage.<\/li>\n
  3. Click Notifications.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Click Register your mobile<\/strong> to receive SMS notifications.\n

    1. Click your country in the country drop-down menu.<\/li>\n
    2. Click your mobile carrier in the mobile carrier drop-down menu.<\/li>\n
    3. Type your mobile number.<\/li>\n
    4. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    5. Type the confirmation code that was sent to your mobile device. It may take a few minutes for the code to be sent.<\/li>\n
    6. Click the Summary of Activity <\/strong>drop-down menu and select to receive a daily or weekly email summary of course activity.<\/li>\n
    7. Click the maximum number of text messages to receive a day from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    8. Click the Summary of Activity <\/strong>drop-down menu and select to receive a daily or weekly email summary of course activity.<\/li>\n
    9. Click the SMS or Email select box for each content type to receive Instant Notifications<\/strong> about course activities.<\/li>\n
    10. Click Save.<\/strong><\/strong>
