Intelligent Agents <\/span><\/span>is a\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>tool within <\/span><\/span><\/span>D2L <\/span><\/span><\/span>Brightspace that allows instru<\/span><\/span><\/span>ctors to gain insight into their course<\/span><\/span><\/span>. For example, instructors may wish to <\/span><\/span><\/span>determine who has or hasn\u2019t submitted an assignment. These agents can also send <\/span><\/span><\/span>customizable messages<\/span><\/span> to individual students when they fulfill a particular task in D2L Brightspace. For example, an instructor may choose to set an intelligent agent to let a student know when they have missed a deadline <\/span><\/span>on<\/span><\/span><\/span> an assignment. Intelligent Agents can help boost engagement with students and help instructors monitor course activity. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> Intelligent agents can be imported, exported, and copied between courses.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Imported Intelligent Agents will be inactive and must be manually enabled. The import\/copy function will replicate all associated settings and restrictions except for Release Conditions, which require the additional \u201cRelease Conditions\u201d option to be selected. If these Release Conditions are related to the Classlist (e.g., course enrolment, group enrolment, etc.), these conditions will not become associated with the new course when copied. Double check and adjust your settings before activating any Intelligent Agents.
