If you do not see it there, select the <strong>menu button<\/strong> <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-436\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/wp-content\/uploads\/menu-button.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"26\" height=\"22\" \/>, then select <strong>Library<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>History <\/strong>from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Clear Recent History\u2026<br \/>\n<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-424\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/students\/wp-content\/uploads\/clear-recent-history.png\" alt=\"Screenshot of History menu with red callout around Clear Recent History...\" width=\"421\" height=\"265\" \/><\/li>\n<li>At the top, select the drop-down menu next to \u201c<em>Time range to clear<\/em>\u201d to select how much of your Firefox history to clear. To delete the entire history and cache, select <strong>Everything<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the checkboxes next to \u201cCache\u201d. To delete the entire history and cache, select <strong>Everything<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>Settings for Clearing History<\/strong>, check the items that you want to have cleared automatically each time you quit Firefox.<\/li>\n<li>After selecting the history to be cleared, select <strong>OK<\/strong>\u00a0to close the\u00a0<strong>Settings for Clearing History<\/strong>\u00a0pop-up.<\/li>\n<li>Close the about:preferences page. To empty the entire cache, select <strong>All Time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In\u00a0<strong>Clear browsing data<\/strong>, select the check box for \u201cCookies and other site data\u201d and \u201cCached images and files\u201d.
