If you have created an assignment, quiz, discussion, etc. through the Tools menu in your course navbar, it will not display on your course page unless you <a href=\"#addexisting1\">add it to a module using the Existing Activities menu<\/a>. The Existing Activities menu is also where you can access external tools, such as BigBlueButton and Zoom (<a href=\"#add1\">see a full list of existing activities below<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong><a id=\"add1\"><\/a>You can add the following existing activities to your course:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Assignments<\/strong> &#8211; Add an existing assignment to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Checklists<\/strong> &#8211; Add an existing checklist to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Discussions<\/strong> &#8211; Add an existing discussion to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>External Learning Tools<\/strong> &#8211; Add an external learning tool (ARES, BigBlueButton, Zoom, etc.) to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Insert Mediaspace<\/strong> &#8211; Insert a media file that you have uploaded to <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.carleton.ca\/\">MediaSpace<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>MS Teams Meeting<\/strong> &#8211; Add a link to an MS Teams Meeting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pearson MyLab and Mastering<\/strong> &#8211; Add <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/brightspace\/instructors\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pearson_Brightspace_Instructor_Course-Setup.pdf\">Pearson MyLab &amp; Mastering to your Brightspace Course<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quizzes<\/strong> &#8211; Add an existing quiz to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Self-Assessments<\/strong> &#8211; Add an existing self-assessment to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Surveys<\/strong> &#8211; Add an existing survey to your course module.<\/li>\n<li><strong>WileyPLUS Assignments<\/strong> &#8211; Add a link to an existing Wiley PLUS assignment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>WileyPLUS Resources<\/strong> &#8211; Add a link to existing WileyPLUS resources.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"addexisting1\"><\/a>To Add an Existing Activity to a Module<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Log into <a href=\"https:\/\/brightspace.carleton.ca\/\">Brightspace<\/a> using your <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">My杏吧原创One<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0credentials.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true,&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>On the\u00a0<em>Brightspace<\/em>\u00a0homepage, locate your course in one of the following ways:\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: circle;\">\n<li>Select the course tile under the <em>My Courses\u00a0<\/em>widget.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <b>Course Selector Grid\u00a0<\/b><i><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/culearnsupport\/students\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-Shot-2020-11-02-at-8.15.40-PM.png\" width=\"22\" height=\"20\" data-imagetype=\"External\" \/>\u00a0<\/i>and select the course from the drop-down menu.
