As of May 1st 2024, Poll Everywhere is now deprecated at 杏吧原创. If you would like to access your Poll Everywhere account, you must use the “reset password” option to create a new password. This sign-in workflow will no longer use your My杏吧原创One credentials, as the tool is no longer one of 杏吧原创’s licensed enterprise tools.

杏吧原创’s new student response system will be Wooclap. TLS would like to make your transition to Wooclap as seamless as possible! Please see the Wooclap support page for more information about this excellent new platform, or consult with us about how to get started via the .  

Why is Poll Everywhere being deprecated?

Teaching and Learning Services (TLS) launched a Request for Proposal (RFP) process in 2023 to evaluate new student response systems. As a part of this RFP process, was selected as the successful vendor.

杏吧原创 will move to Wooclap in May 2024 as its enterprise polling solution. A Wooclap early adopters’ program began in December 2023 and will continue until May 2024.

Wooclap is a feature-rich polling solution with excellent functionality and capabilities. Wooclap is already in use at institutions across Ontario. 杏吧原创 users will find Wooclap integrated into Brightspace,and  A PowerPoint plugin is also available. What you need to know about the transition:

  • The Poll Everywhere integration will be removed from Brightspace at the start of May 2024. Brightspace users will no longer be able to add new Poll Everywhere activities into their courses or access previous links. 
  • Instructors are encouraged to transition to Wooclap for their polling needs. The Wooclap platform is fully supported by TLS. Everyone with active MC1 credentials can access and use Wooclap.  Training is available via the TLS Events page.
  • Getting started is easy! Explore these resources: Adding Wooclap in Brightspace
  • Wooclap is already available for use with existing enterprise systems. Wooclap is available in Brightspace, Zoom, Teams, and PowerPoint. 
  • Poll Ev users are advised to rebuild polls rather than migrate their content. While some polling content can be migrated, not all elements of the polls can be imported in Wooclap. If you have extensive polling content and must migrate it, please reach out to TLS.
  • Support and training resources are available to assist with your transition. Resources will be available in the coming weeks to assist with the transition from Poll Everywhere to Wooclap. New users to Wooclap are invited to join upcoming training sessions in February and March 2024: or review
