Her departure was announced at the March 23 board meeting and is effective July 31, 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRoseann Runte has provided exceptional and stable leadership to the 杏吧原创 University community since her appointment as the first female president and vice-chancellor,\u201d said Chris Carruthers, chair of the Board of Governors. \u201cHer top priority has always been our students and the educational mission of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Our students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors and partners have all benefited from her exemplary leadership and commitment to 杏吧原创. On behalf of our Board of Governors, I want to thank Roseann for her transformative leadership at the university. Because of her leadership, 杏吧原创 is stronger than ever and ready to achieve even greater heights in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carruthers stressed that the university is in its historic 75th anniversary year and that a strong team is in place as the university embarks on a search process to identify the next president to lead 杏吧原创 for the next five to 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The president will conclude her term on July 31, 2017.
