To find a supervisor, applicants should review the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/research\/\">Research Areas<\/a> page and directly contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/facultystaff-listing\/faculty\/\">Faculty<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/facultystaff-listing\/adjunct-professors\/\">Adjunct Professors<\/a> whose research area is of interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>International MSc students <\/strong>are admitted only in very rare exceptions. Email the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/graduate\/\">Graduate Administrator<\/a> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">before<\/span> applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"fast-track\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fast-Track<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A student already registered for the MSc may be permitted to transfer to the PhD program following a recommendation by the departmental graduate committee and successful completion of the Qualifying Examination required of PhD candidates.
