Research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

My research focuses on the genetics of adaptation. I am particularly interested in investigating the consequences of genetic interactions (epistasis) for rates and patterns of molecular evolution, and in understanding the potentially non-adaptive consequences of natural selection. The lab uses a variety of approaches to address these questions, including microbial experimental evolution, next-generation sequencing, and inference of historical evolutionary processes from comparative genomic and molecular population genetic data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
