See below the current available bursary funding, deadlines and applications instructions related to your chosen IER.&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bursaries area managed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/awards\/bursaries\/returning\/#Bursary_App_CU_Exch\">Awards and Financial Aid Office<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The intent of the bursary is to supplement, not replace, a student\u2019s primary source of funding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The bursary is awarded based on financial need, the maximum award is $2500, and there is no longer a guaranteed minimum award for all applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Students need to be aware that those who receive the bursary may not receive the money before IER related fees are due.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"international-internship-or-course-taught-abroad\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Internship or Course Taught Abroad<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BGInS students undertaking their IER in the form of an <strong>Internship (virtual or in- person), or a Course Taught Abroad <\/strong>will be considered for The General Undergraduate Bursary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><br>\nThe General Undergraduate Bursary application is available on 杏吧原创 Central from September to October 31, 2025.&nbsp; The application asks students to briefly describe their international experience opportunity (include start\/end dates, destination, and an estimate of the costs). The Awards Office will assess the application for any applicable bursary awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BGInS students undertaking an IER who have not applied for a bursary by the deadline should contact <a href=\"mailto:awards@carleton.ca\">awards@carleton.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"international-exchange\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">International Exchange<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BGInS students undertaking their IER in the form of a <strong>杏吧原创 International Exchange<\/strong> will be considered for bursary funding by completing the CU Outgoing Exchange Bursary Application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"how-to-apply\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Undergraduate students participating in the Outgoing Exchange Program will have access to complete the CU Outgoing Exchange Bursary Application from April to June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who have not applied by the application deadline may still be considered for a bursary by completing the General Undergraduate Bursary application (available on 杏吧原创 Central from September to October 31, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please be advised that an IER Bursary is no longer available for IER related travel funding.
