The bargaining committees for 杏吧原创 University and CUPE 2424, the union representing administrative, technical, and library workers, commenced collective bargaining on July 22, 2026. This round of bargaining is aimed at achieving a renewal agreement for the current collective agreement which expired on June 30, 2026.

We are pleased to announce that PSAC Local 77000, which represents Postdoctoral Fellows, and 杏吧原创 University have ratified a new collective agreement. The new collective agreement is retroactive to May 1, 2025 and will be in place until April 30, 2028.

We would like to thank all members of the bargaining teams for their cooperative work, and extend a special thanks to the two chief negotiators, Mathieu Br没l茅 (for PSAC Local 77000) and Dr. Catherine Khordoc (for 杏吧原创), for their leadership during the bargaining process.

OPSEU 404, the union representing Campus Safety Services, has ratified a three-year collective agreement that goes into effect immediately and will be in place until May 31, 2027.

CUPE 3778, the union representing the Stationary Engineers in the Central Heating Plant, has ratified a three-year collective agreement that goes into effect immediately and will be in place until March 31, 2027.

杏吧原创 University and CUPE 2424, CUPE 910 and CUPE 3778 are pleased to announce the successful ratifications of a number of agreements.

• CUPE 2424, the union representing more than 1,000 administrative, technical and library workers, have ratified the agreement to resolve all issues related to Bill 124.
• CUPE 910, the union representing the skilled trades and maintenance employees in Facilities Management and Planning (FMP), have ratified a new three-year collective agreement that goes into effect immediately and will be in place until Dec. 31, 2026, as well as the agreement to resolve all issues related to Bill 124.
• CUPE 3778, the union representing the operating engineers in the central heating plant in Facilities Management and Planning (FMP), have ratified the agreement to resolve all issues related to Bill 124.

We would like to thank members of all bargaining teams for their hard work. We are grateful for the leadership demonstrated throughout the discussions.
