Fadwa Darwaish, is a Master of Applied Science student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at 杏吧原创 University. She graduated with a degree in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering in June 2018 also from 杏吧原创 University. She is interested in biomedical engineering for the purpose of changing lives and improving people\u2019s health.<\/p>\n
Fadwa’s thesis work is focused on improving the neonatal patient\u2019s transport in the children\u2019s hospitals of Ontario under the supervision of Dr. Robert Langlois<\/a>,\u00a0Dr. James Green<\/a>, and Dr. Adrian Chan<\/a>. Research\u00a0is focused on investigating vibration levels experienced by neonatal patients while in transport. The motivation behind this study was the increase in the vibrations experienced by neonates while being transported in ambulances\/helicopters. The aim of this research is to quantify the vibration levels babies encounter through their transport and eliminate them.<\/p>\n On November 27th, 2020, Ms. Darwaish successfully defended her M.A.Sc. thesis titled “Investigating Vibration Levels in Neonatal Patient Transport”.<\/p>\nList of Publications:<\/h3>\n
