Prof. Horn-Miller is an associate professor in the School of Indigenous and Canadian Studies at 杏吧原创. She serves as one of three co-chairs of the 杏吧原创 University Strategic Indigenous Initiatives Committee, which developed Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin, 杏吧原创\u2019s revitalized Indigenous strategy that includes 41 杏吧原创-specific calls to action to work towards conciliation with Indigenous Peoples and to make 杏吧原创 a more inclusive space. On July 1 2020, <\/strong>she was appointed as 杏吧原创\u2019s inaugural Assistant Vice-President, Indigenous Initiatives, a role that has since been elevated to Associate Vice-President, Indigenous Teaching, Research and Learning.<\/p>\nProf. Horn-Miller initiated the Indigenous Collaborative Learning Bundles at 杏吧原创 and works to substantially increase Indigenous content in classrooms across various disciplines. Dr. Horn-Miller\u2019s research and teaching is centred in the development of Haudenosaunee-specific and pedagogical practices. Her research interests include Indigenous methodologies, Indigenous women, identity politics, colonization, Indigenous governance, and consensus-based decision making.<\/p>\n
