Prof. Abu Syed Kabir

Dr. Kabir joined the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at 杏吧原创 University as an Assistant Professor in July 2016. Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the department of Materials Engineering at McGill University, from where he also completed his PhD in 2015.
Prof. Kabir鈥檚 personal research interests are primarily focused on additive manufacturing, industrial deformation, welding and joining, microstructure-mechanical properties, and advanced characterization techniques of materials, which demonstrates a commitment to fundamental materials engineering with the purpose of application to established industrial practice. So far, Dr. Kabir has published 50 peer reviewed journal papers and conference proceedings and presented at over 30 international conferences.
