According to an article in&nbsp;<em>The Recorder &amp; Times<\/em>&nbsp;of Brockville, Wales campaigned on themes of growth and stewardship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want to see Brockville grow,\u201d he told the paper. \u201cTo do that, we have to make sure we\u2019re taking care of the people who are here, the infrastructure that\u2019s here.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, alumnus Matt Luloff, who graduated from BPAPM in 2013 with a specialization in social policy, defeated 16 other candidates in the Orl\u00e9ans ward of Ottawa. The Canadian Forces veteran promised to advocate for mental health and the arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI know I didn\u2019t get everybody\u2019s vote and I know that this isn\u2019t a gigantic mandate, and I\u2019m going to work very hard to earn everybody\u2019s trust,\u201d he told the&nbsp;<em>Ottawa Citizen<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Toronto, 34-year-old Joe Cressy, a 2007 BPAPM alumnus with a specialization in development studies, was re-elected in a landslide.
