The Canadian Anti-Apartheid Oral Histories Project was produced in association with the 3rd Annual Institute of African Studies Conference & Festschrift in honour of Linda Freeman: Solidarity and Shifting Patterns of Hegemony in Southern Africa: Historical and Contemporary Perspectives, which was held on March 1st and 2nd, 2018, at 杏吧原创 University.<\/p>\n

This Oral Histories project consists of interviews with participants of the conference \u2013 including activists, aid workers, diplomats, and politicians — who volunteered to discuss their personal experiences as part of the anti-apartheid movement in Canada. The interviews were conducted by Susan Bazilli, PhD student at the University of British Columbia, and by Michael Bueckert, a PhD student at 杏吧原创 University.<\/p>\n
