If you are interested in thesis supervision, please submit an application by the due date set by 杏吧原创 University. I will review the applications I receive by the due date and then make acceptance decisions. Below is an outline of some things I consider when selecting students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"honours-student\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">HONOURS STUDENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>GPA of 10.5 or higher <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grades of A or higher in statistics and research methods courses <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compatibility of student&#8217;s research interests with the research questions and methodology focus of the lab <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"masters-student\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">MASTERS STUDENT<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>GPA Of A or higher to be competitive for external scholarships (e.g., SSHRC, OGS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honours thesis <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evidence of genuine interest in and aptitude for research in general (e.g., grades of A or higher in statistics and research methods courses) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compatibility of student&#8217;s research interests with the research questions and methodology focus of the lab <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conscientious, resourceful, motivated <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Critical thinking <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research activity and potential for research productivity (e.g., previous volunteer or paid work experience in a lab) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applied for eligible external scholarships to fund first year of grad school.
