and,<\/li>\n<li>Seeks to inspire colleagues across the university to be deliberate, creative, and grounded in their approaches to teaching and research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Major Themes<\/h2>\n<p>The list below describes the major themes detailed in the 杏吧原创 Academic Plan as they relate to the three strategic directions from our overarching Strategic Integrated Plan.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Share Knowledge, Shape the Future<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Create, facilitate, interrogate, and share knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Increase our research capacity<\/li>\n<li>Focus on student academic success<\/li>\n<li>Expand entrepreneurial opportunities and experiential learning<\/li>\n<li>Increase collaboration, partnerships and interdisciplinarity in research and teaching<\/li>\n<li>Explore flexible and innovative program options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Serve Ottawa, Serve the World<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Help students develop transversal skills, such as critical thinking, research innovation and problem-solving, ethical leadership, and cultural awareness<\/li>\n<li>Focus on community engagement opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Recognize and support 杏吧原创\u2019s commitment in research, teaching and learning to advance the international Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Strive for Wellness, Strive for Sustainability<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Build and foster environments where scholars at all levels can pursue knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Support Indigenous teaching, learning, and research<\/li>\n<li>Promote and foster research that addresses:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sustainability<\/strong> (the health and growth of the natural and built environment);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wellness<\/strong> (the social, economic, cultural, mental, and physical health of humankind); thoughtfully about the world around them. As graduates navigate the personal, civic, community, and professional aspects of their lives, their ability to contribute and reflect critically will serve them and their communities well.\r\n\r\nAt all other levels of scholarship, the university has a responsibility to inspire researchers and instructors to continue pursuing and advancing knowledge in all forms across all disciplines.
