3ci is partnering with Ka\u0304 Waimaero | Nga\u0304i Tahu Centre at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, to host “The Future of M\u0101ori and First Nations Fisheries – A Film Screening and Discussion”. \u00a0Ka\u0304 Waimaero is an indigenous research centre established in partnership with the Ma\u0304ori tribe Nga\u0304i Tahu, whose tribal territory makes-up two thirds of the South Island of New Zealand.<\/p>\n
The event will be hybrid, with in-person attendees in Aotearoa, New Zealand first watching the screening of “Lake Superior Our Helper: Stories from Batchewanaung Anishinabek Fisheries” followed by the discussion where online participants will join. \u00a0A link to access the film will be sent to registered participants two weeks before the discussion.<\/p>\n
