The MDIIM (SEI) at is establishing a new observatory of the social economy in Montreal鈥檚 south-west district called the Social Innovators鈥� Integration Lab (SIIL) with local partners.聽 SIIL will be housed within the Salon 1861 鈥� a local church that is being repurposed for community engagement, social innovation and social entrepreneurship 鈥� and will provide physical as well as virtual space for value-added interaction between students, researchers, practitioners, and community members.
A postdoctoral research associate will be hired beginning January 2016 to help manage the research, education and outreach platform and conduct her/his own social economy research for two years, with the possibility of extension. Please find the . Apply by September 30, 2015.
