ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ University was well-represented at a recent international conference on universities and community engagement May 13-15.  At the recent hosted by the Global University Network on Innovation, , senior advisor to the president and provost, presented ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s experience and plans on engagement and regional development in Eastern Ontario.  In the same session, Todd Barr, executive director of the and a key player in the ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´-based, presented the Centre’s work in Peterborough and Haliburton counties.  In addition, , public policy professor and principal investigator for CFICE, chaired and facilitated a workshop on institutional structures inside and outside universities for supporting and expanding community engagement.  He also was a member of the committee that developed the conference communiqué issued during the final session.
